It is used for sinus complaints and is effective in relieving symptoms of congestion and stuffy nose. This essential oil is highly antiseptic. Researchers have found that the scent provides a real wake up call, so using this oil should help you get through the day. It can be used in steam baths and saunas by placing a few drops on the hot rocks so the scent fills the room. Eucalyptus is also one of the strongest essential oils to fight viral infections.
Safety:
Do not use Eucalyptus during an asthma attack. Be cautious when using in a public sauna due to possible sensitivities. May be a skin irritate for some.
